FACING FORECLOSURE-FREE HELP

I, like some many Americans, are facing the possibility of foreclosure. I am fighting with everything I have not to have that happen.

That's why, when I came across this in my newspaper and even saw it on TV I thought it might be of some help to us.

I did some research on them and they seem to be on the up and up, even receiving over $28 million in Federal Grants.

HOW CAN I SAVE MONEY....

Every one says you need to save money because who knows what is going to happen in the months/years ahead.

How in the world can I save money when I don't have any to save? I am like most Americans living paycheck to paycheck hoping my company isn't thinking about doing job cuts anytime soon.

Here is what I am going to have to do just to survive. Cancel my health insurance which will save almost $400, yes, $400 a month. Then I will have to cancel a debt help company (that is doing a fantastic job of paying and settling my credit card debt) that will save me $420 a month.

Saving that much money each week will pay my mortgage payment so I don't go into foreclosure and at least will have a roof over my head this winter.

I will be taking a huge risk not having health insurance, I know. And having the bill collectors bugging me again really will suck.

Looks like I have no choice...... 

Moneyless

Things haven't got any better since last time I posted, in fact they have probably gotten worse. I cannot remember, ever, being in such dire straights financially.
Last year I had to cash in my retirement CD just to be able to get through the winter. 
This summer still didn't see all of the tourists that we normally have so my sales were down even more from last year. 
I am up against the wall here, living in fear that I may lose my house to foreclosure this year.
This really really sucks. 

Tip That Can Save You a Little $

Since it does 'Sucks To Be Broke' I have found that in your gmail account you can make free phone calls to anywhere in the US. I use that service a lot, saves my minutes on my cell.
Also if you go to K7.net you will receive a free phone number so people can call and leave you a message. I use the number when doing surveys online, relatives I don't like :-)   etc.

Job Interview

Yep, had a job interview today. I was happy to get it because we live in a seasonal resort town and jobs seem to disappear when summer is over.

 The job was for a shuttle driver for a very posh plantation/resort hotel. When I arrived I was informed by the employer that it wasn't just shuttling the guest around, it also involved picking up around the pool areas (towels, trash, stocking clean towels) and helping the guest with their luggage! All of that for $8.50 and hour. I would have accepted the job never the less, but since I have a bad knee carrying people's luggage around is not an option.
Would have loved to interact with the guests but I guess it wasn't meant to be.  When are things going to get better again??

What Happened??

What the heck happened in the last few years? Seems my entire world has been put upside down with this economy we are having. I have gone from having a savings account, checking account and a CD. Now I only have a checking account (sadly with hardly anything in it) because I had to use the money in the savings and my CD to live on. Now that is gone and, honestly, this situation makes me very nervous.
I guess I was very fortunate never having to be in this kind of situation before. But...I am now and that makes me a great customer of Pepto Bismo. Tip to you...buy stock in Pepto Bismo because at the rate I am using it their profits will, without a doubt, are bound to go up. 
As a baby boomer I thought at this point in my life I would be looking forward to days on the beach and relaxing with grandchildren and friends. Guess that dream has been shattered........
